INVAMAT SELF-ADHESIVE TAPE FOR WINDOWS AND DOORS
INVAMAT self-adhesive tapes are made of microporous rubber with closed cells and skin on the external surface based on EPDM rubber characterized by:
— very high resistance to weathering, UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and water.
— medium resistance to action with acid and base.
BASIC PROPERTIES
Self-adhesive tapes with a self-adhesive reinforced layer of fiberglass mesh covered with siliconized paper. This ensures dimensional stability during installation and operation. Tapes can be used at temperatures from -40 °C to + 65 °C when compressed to 40% of the initial value.
INVAMAT industrial self-adhesive tape is ideal for sealing garage doors and industrial structures. It has stable quality and excellent adhesive properties. The industrial sealing tape is used for particularly large slots. Depending on the slot size, 3 sizes are available: 12 mm x 10 mm, 14 mm x 12 mm, 21 mm x 15 mm.
Fine-pore rubber is resistant to high fluctuations in ambient temperature (from -40 °C to + 60 °C), is moisture and windproof, does not absorb water, stops wind, durable. Guarantee of elastic rubber material for 7 years.
APPLICATION
Surface preparation
The surface should be cleaned of the remains of coating, dirt, traces of fats and oils, wipe with a cloth moistened with ethyl alcohol or clean gasoline and dry for 15-30 minutes.
Gluing to the surface
Apply the sealing tape (without stretching it) to the seal areas. Gradually removing the protective layer from a small part of the tape (10-15 cm), press it against the surface.
NOTE
Apply the sealing tape on the newly painted surfaces of windows and doors only after their final drying.
