Fireproof silicon Sealant INVAMAT 601 — Silicon-based sealant providing maximum mobility in fire-resistant and pipe penetrations
APPLICATIONS INVAMAT 601
•Sealing of joints of adjoining walls and slabs
•Sealingof flange connections in ducts
•Sealing of holes when laying steel pipelines
•Do not use for submerged items
•Do not paint
•For penetrations subject to deformation up to 25%
•Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
•Not permeable to gas, smoke, and water
•Applicablefor seams up to 200 mm wide
Cable penetrations, steel pipe penetrations, sealingexpansion joints.
Clean the hole: the sides and surfaces where the INVAMAT 601 silicon sealant is applied should be strong, dry and free from dust, dirt, and oil. Fill the hole of the penetration (joint) with
non-combustible mineral wool with a density of at least 100 kg/m3, so that there is space for the sealant. Using a dispenser, apply the sealant to a predetermined depth. Level the sealant layer with a wet spatula. After that, let the sealant dry. Attach a label specifying the installer, material, and installation date (if necessary).
