APPLICATION MANUAL

Cable penetrations, steel pipe penetrations, sealingexpansion joints.
Clean the hole: the sides and surfaces where the INVAMAT 601 silicon sealant is applied should be strong, dry and free from dust, dirt, and oil. Fill the hole of the penetration (joint) with
non-combustible mineral wool with a density of at least 100 kg/m3, so that there is space for the sealant. Using a dispenser, apply the sealant to a predetermined depth. Level the sealant layer with a wet spatula. After that, let the sealant dry. Attach a label specifying the installer, material, and installation date (if necessary).

Clean the hole: thesidesandsurfaceswheretheINVAMAT601siliconsealantisappliedshouldbestrong,dryandfreefromdust,dirt,andoil. Apply a continuous layer offireproof silicon sealant INVAMAT 601 with a thickness of at least 1 mm ontheflangeofoneduct. Align the flanges of the ducts and fasten according to the instructions of the duct manufacturer.
