INVAMAT 220 FACADE TAPE (OUTDOOR)
MAIN ADVANTAGES
- Good resistance to mechanical stresses
- Allows seam expansion up to 25%
- Resistant to UV rays and other environmental influences.
- Allows forming non-standard parts
MATERIAL
Sealing rubber facade tape based on ethylene copolymer, propylene and diene monomer (EPDM — Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer).
It does not contain solvents that penetrate and damage the contacting surfaces.
PURPOSE
The tape is designed for insulation of window and door joints, as well as other construction joints and gaps. Protects against moisture on the outside of the facades.
COLOR: BLACK
SURFACE TREATMENT
- The working surface must be dry, free of grease, dust and dirt.
- Use a primer the porous surfaces (concrete, brick, gypsum). If necessary, use isopropanol to degrease the membrane.
- When using the INVAMAT 220 tape with self-adhesive bands, a primer may be necessary. Use a butyl bitumen primer.
APPLICATION
- Tape width is determined by the window, including the outer and inner sides of the seam.
- We recommend leaving a gap of at least 100 mm between the tape and porous materials (concrete, brick, etc.).
- Fasten to porous surfaces using a contact adhesive applied with a brush or roller in smooth layers on both surfaces.
- After applying the adhesive, allow it to dry for 10-15 minutes. After drying, press the upper layer of the tape with a smoothing roller.
- To achieve a quick, economical and accurate result, we recommend using the INVAMAT adhesive.
